I used to work independently as a house master for a dormitory housing students who come from all over Japan to attend high school in our region. That work has now been incorporated and launched as a business. Our goal is for the many dorm students and their families to enjoy dorm life with peace of mind, and for students to come to love the community where they study.
Drawing on my experience farming overseas, we also offer English interpreting that makes use of knowledge of the outdoors, plants and animals.
Our name
co.mugi
“Komugi” (wheat) + “co.” = co.mugi
komugi
A starting point for becoming who you want to be
Wheat is the raw ingredient for all kinds of foods—bread, noodles, sweets and more. The name expresses our wish to create a starting point where the people we work with, especially children, can grow into whatever shape they want to become.
co.
A place to find lifelong companions
“co.” stands for cooperation and collaboration. We want to create places where people work together and find companions for the long run.
